Who runs this site

Boiler Grant Check is an independent British company that does one thing: helps homeowners work out which government heating grant fits them, then introduces the ones who want quotes to MCS-certified and TrustMark-registered installers.

We are not the government, not Ofgem, and not an energy supplier. When an introduction leads to work, the installer pays us a fee. That fee never changes your price, and we would rather tell you that in the second paragraph than have you find it in the small print.

Heating and energy writer

Danny spent 9 years writing about domestic heating, insulation and the grant schemes that pay for them. He has sat through more EPC assessments than he cares to count and reads the GOV.UK scheme guidance so you do not have to.

How we work

  • Every grant figure is checked against GOV.UK and stamped with the date we checked it.
  • The eligibility checker tells you when you do not qualify, and where we cannot help (Scotland, Northern Ireland, most renters) we say so and point you somewhere useful instead of taking your details.
  • We share your details only when you tick an unticked box agreeing to it, with up to 3 installers, and we log exactly what you agreed to.
  • We never state hard deadlines for schemes whose dates keep moving, because being quotable matters less to us than being right.

Contact

Email hello@boilergrantcheck.co.uk and a person answers, usually within one working day. Post reaches us at Boiler Grant Check Ltd, 86-90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE.

The disclosure, in full

We are an independent service. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the UK Government or Ofgem. We connect homeowners with MCS-certified and TrustMark-registered installers, and we may receive a fee when we make an introduction.
